On This Day Wall Calendar

by Luckies of London

A perpetual wall calendar that brings a touch of historic trivia!

Did you know that on the 27th of January 1880 Thomas Edison patented the light bulb?
And did you know that on the 3rd of March 1966 The BBC went out in colour for the first time ever?
Oh and while you're there... did you know that on the 15th of August 1965 The Beatles played to nearly 60,000 fans at Shea Stadium in New York City - this event was later seen as marking the birth of stadium rock.

A heat-sensitive square represents each day. When rubbed, the black cover disappears to reveal a fun fact for that day. Once the square cools, the fact fades away again. The brilliant thing is, there's still room to write your reminders and appointments on the day itself as we've left enough room for exactly that.
